Golfing Events

Inglewood Golf Club has a number of great golfing events throughout the year.

All of our golfing events provide our members with some friendly competition to test their skills while providing an opportunity to meet new members.

  • March
    • March - Foul Weather Classic

This is the major kick-off event of the Men’s golf calendar year. The Foul Weather Classic is played rain or shine, so prepare for the worst, yet let’s hope for the best! Competition is either a random draw team ‘Shamble’ or ‘Scramble’, great formats for the opening to everyone’s tournament season. Buffet lunch after the round.

  • April
    • April - July - Senior Team Matches

Inglewood Seniors play a series of home-and-away matches with several local private clubs. Each team plays once at home and once away in a combined point’s match play team format. Matches are once a month beginning in April and included the following opponents: Everett, Sand Point, Bellingham and Glendale. All members over the age of fifty are eligible to play these highly spirited matches.

      April - Men’s Masters Tournament

Play Inglewood with the pins tucked in some precarious spots in this Inglewood Masters tradition. This competition allows you to create your own team or let the Golf Shop assist you in finding a team. A Stableford Points Team format will highlight the foursome game, along with individual overall Low Gross, and Divisional Low Nets. Our annual “Pick a Partner” from the Master’s field adds excitement to the viewing of Augusta’s final round – as we add your Saturday “net score” to your favorite player’s Sunday score from Augusta. Buffet lunch and awards following the round.

April - August - Men’s Two Man Best Ball

Another favorite on the Men’s golf calendar. Exciting team matches are the format of this event. Players will make their own teams or have the Golf Shop help find a partner. Sign up quickly, as space is limited to the first (64) two man teams to return a completed entry form to the Golf Shop. Players compete at 90% handicaps with matches figured off of the low player, who plays from scratch.
