Inglewood Architects The intent was to make the Club a test for championship play second to none in the Pacific Northwest. With this in mind, Mr. A. Vernon Macan of Vancouver, B.C. was called in to design the course along with Mr. Robert Johnstone of Seattle who also contributed to Seattle Golf Club’s design. A few years later, Mr. Macan was made an honorary member of Inglewood. A.W. Tillinghast made a series of change recommendations in 1935 just before the Seattle Open
